Rembrandt sketching by the dim, intermittent light of the smoking torches of Hades. It is amazing that this image is fully rendered with so very little light appearing to touch it. An image like this would be an incredible challenge to print, but if it were printed, it would be a sublime accomplishment. I think it would look even richer and more profound on paper...give it a try.
